Alien Planet is a 1 hour 34 minute long special on the Discovery Channel documenting the expedition of the Von Braun, an autonomous starship on an interstellar quest to explore the planet known as Darwin IV for life and ecosystems.
Released In 2005, the special was developed from Wayne Douglas Barlowe’s 1990 book Expedition, who also acted as an executive producer. The show was narrated by John C. McGinley in the U.S., and by John Hannah in the U.K.
